Poker printing includes the following 15 steps (the steps may vary among different poker manufacturers):

1) Poker manufacturers arrange 54 poker cards in sizes of 6x9 (54) or 7x8 (56). Because some playing cards require printing 55 or 56 cards, the extra 1 or 2 cards are usually calendars or other advertising information. The paper is also cut into corresponding sizes of 6x9 (54) or 7x8 (56).

2) Poker manufacturer's four-color front and back printing, as well as quality inspection. After printing, it is necessary to wait for the ink to be fully absorbed by the paper according to its ink absorption characteristics before entering the next process.

4) Poker manufacturers fill the reverse side with paste and dry it. Filling slurry is an important process in poker production. The so-called "filling slurry" refers to a solution mixed with starch and other viscous chemical components, which is evenly applied to poker paper through rollers. This is because any paper under a microscope always presents the symptom of "unevenness", while poker requires the paper to be very flat to ensure sufficient smoothness, and "filling" can make it flat. 5) Poker manufacturer steel roller squeezing. Because the paper of playing cards is thick and consists of three or more layers, if not squeezed, there may be a situation where the front and back of the cards detach after playing for a long time. Ten years ago, domestic poker often had the situation of front and back detachment, but now this problem has been completely solved in large production plants. The squeezing effect is better after filling the slurry.

6) Poker manufacturers polish. The polishing process refers to the application (or spraying, printing) of a colorless and transparent coating on the surface of printed materials. After leveling, drying, calendering, and curing, a thin and uniform transparent bright layer is formed on the surface of the printed materials, which enhances the smoothness of the carrier surface and protects the printed graphics and text. The polishing process has become an important means of post press finishing for poker. It not only makes the poker patterns look more exquisite, but more importantly, it is an important process for forming a moderately smooth hand feel for poker. The polishing of poker should be determined based on the paper. If the polishing transitions, the poker will be too slippery and prone to slipping when stacked together; If there is insufficient polishing, the poker is too rough, the poker is not easy to wash, and it cannot be inserted. 7) Poker manufacturer embossed fabric pattern. The fabric effect can make poker look more upscale, and many advertising poker customers hope to have a fabric effect. The cloth pattern machine consists of two parallel steel rollers. When the poker paper passes through, the texture on the steel rollers presses onto the paper, forming a cloth pattern effect. (Note: The process of embossing is usually handled by manufacturers before or after filling, which has a certain impact on the stiffness and hardness of the poker paper.)

8) Poker factory perfume. Some customers require poker to have a special aroma, especially for food or cosmetics advertising poker (the production process is rarely used now, such as gold plating).

9) Poker manufacturers perform die-cutting and sorting in one go. Cut 54 poker cards horizontally into 6 pieces (6x9, 54 cards) or 7 pieces (7x8, 56 cards) using a die-cutting machine; Cut vertically into 9 strips (6x9, 54 sheets) or 8 strips (7x8, 56 sheets), and automatically sort them to form an arrangement with the king at the top and the little king at the bottom. At the same time, conduct quality inspections. At this point, the corners of the poker are still rectangular instead of rounded, and the poker is also larger than the final 57x87mm.

10) Poker manufacturer's secondary die-cutting. Place the poker cards that have been die cut and sorted once into an electric 57x87mm rounded die cutter to form the final poker core that meets the specifications.

11) Poker manufacturer's poker core heat shrink packaging. Use a packaging machine to shrink wrap 54 inner cores of a pair of poker cards with plastic paper. After heat shrinking, the inner core is easy to package and moisture resistant. (Note: Generally packaged with self shrinking plastic film, thermal shrinkage can cause the poker to deform and become uneven.)

12) Poker manufacturers print, polish, and paste poker boxes.

13) The poker manufacturer puts the poker core into the poker box, heat shrinks it, and adds gold wire drawing. The golden wire drawing is the same as the wire drawing on the outside of the cigarette box, making it easy for users to open. (Note: This does not require heat shrinking. The heat shrink film has poor transparency, brightness, or aesthetic effect.)

14) Poker manufacturers heat shrink pack every 10 pairs of poker. Re shrink packaging is for easy counting and quick packaging into corrugated cardboard boxes. (Note: In China, there are 10 pairs, while in foreign countries, there are usually 12 pairs.)
